Owls on the prowl

Owls are released on the farm after rehabilitation

Ayrshire Farm is grateful to be a place of sanctuary for recovering wildlife. Most recently, a “blended family” of rehabilitated owls arrived at the farm, healthy and ready to be returned to their natural habitat after receiving care from Belinda Burwell, of Piedmont’s Wildlife Veterinary Care. The mother of the adopted owlets had recovered from an automobile accident, and all of them were happily released to their new home on a warm Sunday afternoon.
